Manifesting by Design: 3 Steps to get more clarity on asking for what you want.

There is a lot of information out there about manifesting. Most of it is general. What people don’t know is that you have your specific way of interacting with the laws of the universe to make things happen in your life, regardless of what is going on in your life right now.

Here are 3 steps that help you get more clarity on your manifesting ask.

1. Get clear on your ask.

The clearer you are about what you want the easier it is to ask. Think about ordering your meal in a restaurant. You look at the menu. You choose what you want and if you need to tweak the order a little to refine your preference you do. It’s easy for the waiter to return with the correct meal.

How do you ask? Are you precise? Do you hand your decision over to the waiter? Maybe you ask in a general way. “I’ll have a main course please.” This option can be problematic, especially if you don’t know the waiter or they don’t know your preferences.

The same goes when manifesting with the universal energy. The clearer the initial ask, the easier it is for the universe to return with what you want.

2. What do you say YES to?

When I hear mentors advising to make lemonade when the universe hands you lemons. It’s important to know you don’t have to do this. I’m allergic to lemons, so I hand them back with gratitude, develop my preference and ask for that instead.

My client wanted a part time job and was clear about the time and money she wanted. So, she applied for a number of jobs. Very soon the perfect job showed up. Unfortunately, she wasn’t offered this job. Disappointed, she kept applying. A couple of weeks later, she was offered a full time job with a poor salary. In the past she would have accepted this offer. But it made her more clear than ever what she wanted. So she turned down the job and told them her preference. A couple of weeks later, she got a call with the perfect job for her. Result.

The universe brings you more of what you say YES to.

3. When you really don’t know what you want.

My clients often say “What do I do when I don’t know what I want?” This is easy. You will be able to look at results in your life of business now – that you don’t want. This can be your starting point. What do you want instead? As you establish your preferences based on what you don’t want your ask becomes clear.
